About the popcorn
“Our favorite products aren’t about spectacle; they’re about craftsmanship. Thoughtful design, attention to detail, and commonplace materials, expertly utilized. High-end but low-key. That’s the philosophy behind everything we do. Some of the world’s favorite foods are simple, but with care, they’re sometimes elevated into something revered. Ice cream can be just cream and sugar, or it can be something extraordinary. Macarons are just almonds and eggs, until precision transforms them.Great popcorn is no different. Made with oil, salt, sugar, and dried corn, it seems simple, but when done right, it becomes something more. Our aim is for it to share the same space as everyday indulgences pushed to luxurious heights. We know it might sound excessive or even pretentious to put this much care and effort into something so simple. But as people who’ve had remarkable ice cream and macarons, we don’t mind a little obsession for detail. We start with Ohio-grown kernels, real butter, and only natural flavors and colors. If we say it’s cheddar, blueberry, or espresso, that means real cheddar, real blueberries, real espresso. But we’re not just about doing things exceptionally—we’re about doing things no one else has. Some of our flavors don’t exist anywhere else, created from scratch through curiosity, trial, and way too many test batches. We make our own cheeses and caramels, obsess over every detail, and refuse to take shortcuts. We take our popcorn seriously—but we’re not afraid to have some fun along the way. It’s a labor of love, and we hope you can taste it.

About us
Jason’s Marvelous Popcorn began the same way most of my food projects do: as a personal challenge to create a caramel popcorn better than any other. After years of experimenting, countless test batches, and a library of notes, my family shared the final result with friends and co-workers. The response was overwhelming—many said it was the best they’d ever had.I thought that was the end of it—until someone offered to buy my recipe. That’s when Angie, my wife, suggested I sell the popcorn myself. After expanding my creations, I launched Jason’s Marvelous Popcorn in 2019 with Salted Caramel, Pecan Caramel, Cheddar, and Cayenne Cheddar. And while the business carries my name, it wouldn’t be what it is without the encouragement of family and friends, the camaraderie of fellow business owners, and, most importantly, the support of our customers. You are what makes Jason’s Marvelous Popcorn truly marvelous.
